Above is a picture of an afghan I made from the heart pattern below. I believe it's so cute. I just love it.
Spread the word, tell your friends and crochet groups. Give them the link to this blog page. I'm sure that some of you will make a wonderful sampler afghan for someone special. I'd love to show pictures of these afghans on the blog.
I was also thinking that the heart crocheted in red and the peace sign crocheted in a pretty blue, both with white borders would make an awesome afghan for soldiers or veterans. I believe it would really make a pretty patriotic afghan.
Happy Crocheting!

ReplyDeleteI love this. I just finished my first square and it was the Bell. I'm going to make all of them and make them into an afghan. However, I have a question...How do I get some color behind the empty holes where the bell is? Like a background color like white, or red etc? I don't like just leaving the holes. Any ideas?
ReplyDeleteI would love to see a dove pattern to go with all this beautiful patterns.
