Hello everyone,
I just received the picture and email below from Kay. She created this very pretty afghan to be donated to charity and it's so darned cute, I just had to share it with you. I just love to see pictures of completed items from my patterns. WTG Kay!! She used the very original Heart of a Child pattern before it was revised. Even the un-revised pattern looks charming in her picture. I sent her an updated revised pattern for next time.

Hi,
I just thought you might like to see a project I just finished using your pattern. It will be donated to Project Linus. The border pattern is on Kim Guzman's website.

Thank you SO much for the pattern! WOW! I wish I hadnt opened the pattern until morning though, because it is now 2:48 AM and I am making the 3rd square towards a blanket as a present for my daughter who is graduating in May. I got some red yarn from my mother-in-law (her grandmother)'s house when she passed away. I dont have enough for a whole blanket, but I do have enough for the border of each square. The hearts will be made of shades of blue (her favourite colour) and the borders in her grandmother's red yarn as a reminder of the 3 generations of love. I know that if her grandmother was alive, she would have been more than happy to make a blanket for my daughter's graduation.
Again, THANK YOU!! For the pattern! I will make your squares in the AM and get them in the mail this week.
