The charity square drive has officially begun. Won't you help us celebrate Online Angels anniversary by donating a square or many squares to a wonderful organization. Online Angels has helped so many people and are in great need of squares.
Mary has great volunteer Angels who will stitch your squares together into afghans for those in need. Please do not use wool or cotton. You may donate knit and crocheted squares 6" x 6" all the way up to 12" x 12".
When you send in your squares, please take a moment to include a note with your Name, State or Country and your square count. I will post an update here on the blog with the square counts.
Thank you all for participating.

Charity Square Drive for Online Angels
Online Angels is celebrating their 12th year of giving to those in need on May 19th. I figured it would be a great time to do start a square drive. Let's get those hooks and needles started.
You can create your own designs or use anyone's patterns you want... even granny squares. All squares in all sizes from 6" x 6" to 12" x 12". Please NO WOOL OR COTTON. You can also donate blankets already completed.
In addition, I've designed a simple textured 6" x 6"square that can be whipped up in nothing flat and for those of you that are new to crocheting, I have a video to go along with the pattern I created for this event. I hope the video will help you. The square is called "Cool 2B Square".
The pattern and video will have the address to mail the squares to. Please include a count of the squares that you are sending so I can post your counts on the blog. When Mary receives the packages she will email me your square counts.
Details will follow in the next day or two.

SmoothFox Purple Snowflake Juice
Tester pictures of Purple Snowflake Juice
Testers, please add your project to Ravelry now.
1. Click on the link below
3. It takes you to the pattern page – you need to log-in to Ravelry to see the “Hook it” icon in step 4
4. Click on the "Hook it" icon in the top right area
5. It will let you fill in the blanks, name your own name for the piece you worked. You can name it whatever you want. Example: Enjoli's blah blah blah. It will let you rate the pattern also. So you enter all the information about your "project" like, did you like it, did you have to add a round of sc's to make it the right size, what yarn you used etc and then you save that. General notes for other people who will see it.
6. Then there is a tab so you can add your pictures of your square or blanket or multiple squares with the same pattern.
7. If you had already created your project on Ravelry before I posted the pattern, you will need to go to the link above – highlight and copy the BOLD name of the pattern that I named it. Then go to your project page and put in this name as the pattern name link.
