Testers Found - Fox's Geometric 6x6 and 12x12

12x12 version
6x6 version

UPDATE - TESTERS ARE - AISHA, PAULA, MARION, JEWEL, LAVINA, VAUGHNDEELEE, LISA, CINDY, JANET, LAURIE, ADRIAN, LEAH, DENA,, SHANNON, KATY, GAYLE

I designed this square New Years eve about 2008 and then promptly forgot about it until about a month ago when I saw someone else put up their pattern that resembled mine.  I quickly went through my list, there must be 60 unfinished patterns that I need to go re-examine to see why I stopped working on each one.  Anyway, low and behold I found mine.  Please be prepared to work both of the squares.

If you want to be a tester, read the instructions below and let's get started! Remember, everyone who tests any of the patterns will have their picture of the completed tested item shown in the blog next to their name as a tester. So show off your talents. I'd really like it if when I put the pattern up on Ravelry, if each tester or person who works this pattern would add it as a project there so I can post a link to everyone who makes this items pictures.

1. Must be a follower of this blog and a subscriber. Not a follower yet? Sign up. Let me know your follower name.

2. Must be able to finish testing by Thursday August 5th.

3. Must be able to send me a picture of your finished item attached to an email.

4. Must be able to send me errors of any kind you find in the pattern.

5. It'd be a plus but is not mandatory, if you were a member of Ravelry so you can add the project when the pattern opens up to everyone.

6. You can use whatever colors you want but should use one light shade and one darker shade.  No they don't have to be black and white.  There definately has to be a contrast between the two colors.  DO NOT USE VARIGATED OR STRIPED YARN.

If you want to test, send me an email to the address below with your Follower name. Only the first 7 or so testers emailing me will receive the pattern to test. Please don't post a comment that you'd like to test. I can't send a copy of the pattern to a "comment." You have to email me as it states. When I find enough testers I go back and change the title of this posting from Testers Wanted to Testers Found. Before emailing me, please go back and check this link to see if the title has been changed.

Update on Dottie - my missing tester

A few weeks ago I was worried and freaked out for about a two week period about Dottie.  She went into the hospital to have surgery on July 12th and on July 21st I still hadn't heard from her.  She was going to contact me when she was out of surgery.

Dottie contacted me and said there had been multiple complications after surgery and her stay turned into a very long stay in my opinion but she is at home now.  Whew I was freaked out.  I was praying fast and furious during her stay in the hospital.  Now let's pray she continues to heal.

Thank you to those of you who emailed me and tried to help locate her on different places that they thought she might be a member of.

Texas Bound and I need your help

I'm leaving to go visit my family in Texas tomorrow.  My son Billy, his wife Stef and her mother who lives in Italy are flying in tomorrow and we will meet up with my mom, dad, sister, brother-in-law and niece.  I can't wait!  I've never met my son's wife's mother before.  My son married a wonderful lady from Italy and she moved here to the states when they married.  Her mother is flying in fron Italy to meet our side of  the family and doesn't speak any English.  Stef is going to be under a lot of pressure translating everything that is said.  This should be fun.

I'll be back in touch Sunday night.

In the mean time, I need your help.  I'd like to know if anyone knows a person on the Internet named Dottie aka Linedancrs.  She has been a tester for the past year and has had some health problems.

Dottie emailed me that she was going in for surgery last Monday a week ago and would contact me when she was out of surgery and let me know how she was doing.  I have never heard from her.  I'm extremely freaked out.  Please email me if you know who she is or have any idea if she is okay.

I also have noticed that my background on my blog is going to disappear on Friday while I'm down there in Texas.  Not sure if I can get it fixed tonight before I leave because of packing etc I need to do.  I want to choose a blogger background template but have no idea how to get rid of the background that is going to expire from my html or set up on blogger.  Shesh.

Testers Found - Mystery Round Ripple

UPDATE - TESTERS ARE: DIANA, LEAH, KATY, ANN, VIOLA, JEWEL, KARIN, SUSAN, VIMS, LAVINA, AISHA, LISA, ANGEL

Mystery?  The reason I called it a mystery for right now is that I wanted to see if the pattern could be worked without the cheat of a picture.  PLEASE BE SURE TO READ NUMBER 6 BELOW

2. Must be able to finish testing by Saturday July 31th. You will have two weeks to complete this item.

3. Must be able to send me a picture of your finished item attached to an email.

4. Must be able to send me errors of any kind you find in the pattern.

5. It'd be a plus but is not mandatory, if you were a member of Ravelry so you can add the project when the pattern opens up to everyone.

6. You can use whatever colors you want but please use 5 different colors plus white.  DO NOT USE VARIGATED OR STRIPED YARN.  You will not use the entire skeins however, if you test this project, you will have enough yarn to complete a future afghan I have designed if you start with 6 fresh skeins of yarn on this project of at least  7oz 355 yards each.  If you decide not to test the future round afghan, feel free to use partial skeins on this project.  You will need to gauge if you have enough yarn.

If you want to test, send me an email to the address below with your Follower name. Only the first 5 or so testers emailing me will receive the pattern to test.

I'll add other pictures as I receive them.  As you can see I had a lot of people that responded to testing.  I'll probably let more people test the patterns in the future as many people can't seem to get in quickly enough and get shut out.  I don't want these people feeling that they can't get in.

Thanks for testing ladies.

Are you a die hard tester?

UPDATE:  THERE IS NOW A BOX IN THE RIGHT HAND CORNER OF THE BLOG FOR GOOGLE GROUPS.  JUST ENTER YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS THERE AND SUBMIT IT.  YOU'LL BE ADDED AND GET THE FEEDS WITH IN A MINUTE OF ME POSTING THEM.

First, let me thank all of you who are followers that want to test patterns.  I appreciate it more than you'll ever know.

Many people signed up to receive new posts and Feedburner has been sending out the feeds for the past few  years.  However, lately Feedburner has been sending out the feeds many hours after I open patterns for testing even when I specifically tell it a much earlier time to send the feeds out.

Since there is a delay for some reason, I'm getting complaints from Subscribers who are not receiving the feeds when the patterns are open for testers.  Because of this, they are receiving the feeds when the patterns are closed for testers.  So if you are getting the feeds and don't care when you receive them, do nothing.  If you are a die hard tester and want them ASAP - read on.

As a way to get feeds to people sooner, if you send me an email using the email address you want the feeds sent to, you will be the first to get them instantly in your email after I post.  No waiting for Feedburner.  You just have to accept the Invitation that I send you from Google Groups.  The group isn't used for discussions.  It is used strictly to get feeds to people instantly in their email. Be sure you tell me to add you to the Google Group.
