INSTRUCTIONS
Round 1: Using color A, ch 4, 11 dc in first ch, join with slip st to 4th ch of beg ch-4. (12 dc)
Round 2: Ch 3, dc in same st, 2 dc in each st around, join with slip st to 3rd ch of beg ch-3. (24 dc)
Round 3: Ch 3, dc in next st, ch 3, *(sk 1 st, dc in next 2 sts, ch 3), repeat from * around, join with slip st to 3rd ch of beg ch-3. (16 dc, 8 ch-3 sps)
Round 4: Ch 3, dc in same st, mark this stitch, ch 2, 2 dc in next st, ch 1, dc in ch-3 sp, ch 1, *(2 dc in next st, ch 2, 2 dc in next st, ch 1, dc in ch-3 sp, ch 1), repeat from * around, join with slip st to 3rd ch of beg ch-3. Finish off. (40 dc, 8 ch-2 sps, 16 ch-1 sps)
Round 5: Join color B with a sl st in the marked st, ch 3, V-st in ch-2 sp, dc in next st, ch 1, sk 1 st, dc in ch-1 sp, dc in dc, dc in ch-1 sp, ch 1, sk 1 st, *(dc in next st, V-st in ch-2 sp, dc in next st, ch 1, sk 1 st, dc in ch-1 sp, dc in dc, dc in ch-1 sp, ch 1, sk 1 st)*, repeat from * around. Join to with slip st to 3rd ch of beg ch-3. Finish Off. (56 dc, 8 ch-2 sps, 16 ch-1 sps)
Round 6: Join color C with a slip st in any ch-2 sp, ch 1, 2 sc in ch-2 sp, sk 3 sts, *(3 tr, ch 3, 3 tr) in center dc of three dc grouping, sk 3 sts, 2 sc in ch-2 sp, sc in next 2 sts, sc in ch-1 sp, sc in next 3 sts, sc in ch-1 sp, sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in ch-2 sp*, repeat from * to * 2 more times, join with slip st to beg sc. (24 tr, 52 sc, 4 ch-3 sps)
Round 7: Ch 3, dc in next 4 sts, *(3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) in corner sp, dc in next 19 sts*, repeat from * to * 2 more times, dc in last 14 sts, join with slip st to 3rd ch of beg ch-3. (100 dc)
Round 8: Ch 4, sk 1 st, (dc in next st, ch 1, sk 1 st,) 3 total times, *(3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) in corner sp, ch 1, sk 1 st, (dc in next st, ch 1, sk 1 st) 12 total times*, repeat from * to * 2 more times, ch 1, sk 1 st, (dc in next st, ch 1, sk 1 st) 8 total times, join with slip st to 3rd ch of beg ch-4. Finish off. (72 dc, 4 ch-3 sps, 52 ch-1 sps)
Round 9: Join color A with a sl st in any corner, ch 3, (2 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) in corner, *ch 1, sk first 3 sts, (2 dc in ch sp, sk next st) repeat across to last 3 sts, ch 1, sk last 3 sts, ** (3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) in corner*, repeat from * to * 2 more times and from * to ** once, join with slip st to 3rd ch of beg ch-3.
