Testers Found for the SmoothFox Picot Of The Day

Thank you everyone who responded.  I have found my testers.  They are:

Enjoli, Stephanie B, Sandy Townsend, Grace Ann, Gina, Jacey, Libbie, Aisha, Janet, Stephanie S, Cathie, Sandhya

Testers Wanted: SmoothFox Picot Of The Day

Testing is open for this simple pattern. I'd like to ask for two types of testers.  One to do just the square and one to do a scarf using this square. In the video, which is included for you to watch and crochet with, I have shown how to attach the squares together in a join as you go method.  When you email me to ask if I need testers, please tell me if you just want to do one square or a scarf.

1. Must be a follower of this blog and a subscriber.

2. Must be able to finish testing by FridayNovember 25, 2011

3. Must be able to send me a picture of your finished item attached to an email. People not following through and sending me a picture or not posting on Ravelry will no longer be able to test future patterns.

4. Must be able to send me errors of any kind you find in the pattern.

5. It is mandatory as of January 23, 2011 that all testers add their test projects on Ravelry after I post the link to the pattern. Once I post the pattern, you'll need to go back to Ravelry and link it to the proper pattern. If you posted your project ahead of time, it won't be linked to the pattern without using the exact name I called the pattern once it was posted. Anyway, believe me, I will be checking. If 10 people want to test, there should be 10 projects on Ravelry.

6. You can use whatever brand of 3 or 4 ply yarn you'd like to use. Please do not use variegated or striped yarn. The pattern will give you the specific's.  Use whatever colors of yarn you'd like to use.

If you want to test, send me an email to the address below with your Follower name. Only the first people emailing me will receive the pattern to test. I respond to all requests. If you don't receive a response, send another email as your original email may have gone into spam. Please don't post a comment that you'd like to test. I can't send a copy of the pattern to a "comment." You have to email me as it states. Don't send me a comment through the Google feed that you want to test. You must use the email address below.

Begin sending in your November squares for the charity square drive

If you need an entry form to include with your square or squares, email Cindy at SmoothFoxHelperCindy@yahoo.com    and she will email the free pattern and the form.

Please send in your November knit or crochet squares for the charity square drive now.  So far, we are really running low on squares.  It looks like we have only have about 20 entries into the drawing.  Those 20 entries have pretty good odd's of winning the random prize drawing.  It would be nice to get a larger participation as the charity really needs your help.

Maybe people aren't aware that each month the square totals for your participation are added together to form your grand total to decide the winners of the larger prizes.  Remember however, that just sending in a couple of squares also enters you into the random prize.  The more entries you send in, the more times your name goes in the drawing.

If you need an entry form to include with your square or squares, please email Cindy at SmoothFoxHelperCindy@yahoo.com and she will email the free pattern and the form.

Computers drive me nuts

Just because I accidentally dumped Iced Tea into my laptop it has decided to not work.  I started having trouble keeping the computer on for more than 5 minutes at a time to try to retrieve all the pictures that everyone has recently sent me and the patterns that I've created.

The fried computer is at the doctor right now and I have major doubts it can be fixed.   If I need anyone to re-email me a picture of their latest test items, I'll send out an email or a blog post.  Don't send them yet.

Happy Crocheting!

Winners of the Great Pumpkin Debate Are -

I want to thank all of you who participated by entering a comment.  I decided to mix it up a bit by selecting the people randomly by using the date 10/31/2011 and having 4 winners instead of 3 winners.  So I split 2011 into two numbers, a 20 and an 11.  Some are counted frm the top of the list down and others from the bottom up.

Those four of you listed below should head on over to my Ravelry Store using the link below and browse my patterns that are for sale.  E-books excluded - send me an email with the link to the pattern you'd like to have or send me the exact name of the pattern.  Send the email to SmoothFoxLover@yahoo.com
