How much yarn is used? It lists 3 colors but not how much I need.
Thanks so much for posting this pattern! I made it for my in-laws for Christmas and they loved it! I posted a picture on my blog (http://kariscraftsonline.blogspot.com) with a link to your site.

Thanks for this pattern. I am always looking for something unique and this definitely fits the bill.
Nice pattern - Thank you. I made it for my son and his girlfriend with solid white (sparkle wool) and trimmed it with white fun fur. They love it. I'm going to try it again for myself with gold crochet cotton. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Thanks for the pattern. I was thinking about crocheting a tree skirt for myself for next Christmas. I was having trouble creating a pattern and, I didn't like most of the ones I had found on the Internet. This is beautiful, thank you for sharing.
I was looking for an easy pattern for a tree skirt :) Thanks to you I found one!
Can I use 8ply yarn as I have a ton of it and want to use it all up, Also I'm an Aussie so the stitch will be different won;'t it?
