INSTRUCTIONS:

Using color A, ch 6, join with slip st for form a ring or use the Magic Adjustible Ring (see www.crochetpatterncentral.com under tutorials).

Round 1: In ring ch 3, dc, ch 1, (2 dc, ch 1) repeat 6 more times; join with slip st in top of beg ch-3. (16 dc, 8 ch-1 sps)

Round 2: Ch 3, dc in next st, ch 2, sk ch-1 sp, *(dc in next 2 sts, ch 2, sk ch-1 sp) repeat 6 more times; join with slip st in top of beg ch-3. Finish off. (16 dc, 8 ch-2 sps)

Round 3: Join color B with a sl st in the first dc of any 2 dc grouping, ch 3, dc in same st, ch 2, 2 dc in next st, *working behind the ch-2 sp – 2 tr in ch-1 sp from round 1, dc in each of the next 2 sts, working behind the ch-2 sp, 2 tr in ch-1 sp from round 1, ** (2 dc in next st, ch 2, 2 dc in next st) corner made,* repeat from * to * 2 times and from * to ** once. Join with slip st in top of beg ch-3. (17 tr, 24 dc)

Round 4: Sl st to corner, ch 3, (2 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) in corner, *sk 3 sts, shell between the 2 tr’s, sk 4 sts, shell between the 2 tr’s sk 3 sts, ** (3 dc ch 3, 3 dc) corner made,* repeat from * to * 2 times and from * to ** once; join with slip st in top of beg ch-3. Finish off. (56 dc)

Round 5: Join color A with a sl st in any corner, ch 3, (2 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) in corner, * sk 3 sts, shell in gap below, (sk 2 sts, sc in ch-2 sp, sk 2 sts, shell in gap below) repeat once, sk 3 sts, (3 dc ch 3, 3 dc) in corner,* repeat from * to * 2 times and from * to ** once; join with slip st in top of beg ch-3. Finish off. (72 dc, 8 sc)

Round 6: Join color B with a sl st in any corner, ch 2, (2 hdc, ch 2, 3 hdc) in corner, * sk 3 sts, (3 hdc in gap below, sk 2 sts, 2 sc in ch-2 sp, sk 2 sts) repeat twice, 3 hdc in gap below, sk 3 sts, (3 hdc ch 2, 3 hdc) in corner,* repeat from * to * 2 times and from * to ** once; join with slip st in top of beg ch-2. Finish off. (72 hdc, 24 sc)
