INSTRUCTIONS

Using color A ch 4, join with slip st in 4th ch from hook to form a ring.

Round 1: Ch 3, 11 dc in ring, join with slip st in top of beg ch-3. (12 dc)

Round 2: Ch 3, sc in same st, *(dc in next st, sc in same st) repeat 10 times; join with slip st in 3rd ch of beg ch-3. Finish off. (12 dc, 12 sc)

Round 3: Using color B join with a slip st in any sc from round 2, ch 1, sc in same st, ch 3, sk 2 sts, *sc in next st, ch 3, sk 2 sts,* repeat around; join with a slip st in beg sc. (8 sc, 8 ch-3 sps)

Round 4: Ch 3, (dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in same st, shell made, sk ch-3 sp, *shell in next sc, sk ch-3 sp,* repeat from * around; join with slip st in top of beg ch-3. Finish off. (32 dc, 8 ch-2 sps)

Round 5: Using color A join with slip st in first dc of any shell, ch 1, sc in same st, sk 1 st, 5 dc in ch-2 sp, sk 1 st, sc in next st, *sc in next st, sk 1 st, 5 dc in ch-2 sp, sk 1 st, sc in next st) rep 6 times; join with slip st in beg sc. Finish off. (40 dc, 16 sc)

Round 6: Using color C join with slip st in first sc after a 5 dc grouping from Round 5, ch 3, (2 dc, ch 3) in same st, 3 dc in next sc, *ch 3, sk 5 dc, sc in next 2 sts, ch 3, sk 5 dc, **(3 dc in next st, ch 3, 3 dc in next st)* repeat from * to * 2 times and from * to ** once; join with slip st in top of beg ch-3. Finish off. (24 dc, 8 sc, 12 ch-3 sps)

Round 7: Using color B join with a slip st in any corner, ch 3, (2 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) in same sp, *sk 1 st, dc in next 2 sts, 3 dc in ch-3 sp, dc in next 2 sts, 3 dc in next ch-3 sp, dc in next 2 sts, sk last st, **(3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) in corner,* repeat from * to * 2 times and from * to ** once; join with slip st in top of beg ch-3. Finish off. (72 dc, 4 ch-3 sps)
